Social media marketing has always been an important part of promoting your business and connecting with customers and prospects. Now, in these strange times when the coronavirus pandemic has changed so many of the things that we used to take for granted, it is even more imperative that you have a social media strategy in place that reflects your business.

Have you changed the way you work? Maybe you have changed your working hours or maybe the contact details for your business are different to before? Your company bio should clearly state what has altered so that your customers can contact you easily.

Make a concerted effort to engage with customers and prospects online. Customer communication is vital.

When you are posting on social media, think about who the content is intended for.  Does it inform and educate exactly what your business is about.

Remember that with many people working from home at the moment, they will looking at their social media platforms at different times of the day than they did when working in the office environment. Post at a time when you think it is more likely to be seen and make your content more relevant. People are spending more time on in front of their computers and using social media, so take advantage of that.

Use your social media platforms to drive conversations and build a community that can share and support each other.

The future is uncertain so it is important to find new opportunities and stay focused.
